How do you make the most easy pizza dough from scratch?
- 1.5 cups of self rising flour - 1 cup plain Greek yogurt - some oil or spray for the pan ….right? No process, just a little kneading and you got it sorted. Totally my style anyways. If this recipe was a person it would be my favourite type - blunt. When I think about my dream pizza, a few ideas come to mind: pesto, truffle oil, mushrooms, Parmesan and sun-dried tomatoes. Truffle oil is on the expensive side - but it will become your new fancy cooking friend. Ingredients: Easy pizza dough (see above) Portobello mushrooms, sliced sun-dried tomatoes Truffle oil Parmesan Avocado Pesto (see below) *Before making the sauce - pop the pizza crust in the oven, and bake on 250 C for 5 minutes to pre-bake. How to make Avocado pesto? You need a blender, we use a Ninja bullet but food processor would work too. I’m always coming from a low-maintenance place so if someone has a strong opinion on one or the other… okay :) Ingredients 1 avocado Fresh basil 1/2 cup raw cashews 1/2 cup Parmesan Minced garlic Sea salt to taste Cajun spice if desired Guess what? You blend that all together. Voila! Once you have your sauce, remove the pizza crust from the oven and add pesto sauce followed by mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella and bake for 10-15 minutes. Add fresh Parmesan and truffle oil on top. Be extra cheeky by adding some garlic aioli for dip - I would ;)
